Multi-generational Clients and Services
Resetting Your Practice to Guide Your Clients, from Baby Boomers to Gen X to Millennials

BY THE NUMBERS

  • By 2030, Generations X & Y households will control 47% of wealth in U.S., vs. 45% of baby boomers.
  • Baby boomers will pass down $48 trillion in wealth over the next 25 years.
  • Firms in the top quartile of revenue growth have more younger investors as clients.
  • 88% of high-net worth households move their inherited wealth to another adviser.
  • Organic growth is limited by average client age and more than 50% of advised clients are 60 and older.
  • Engaging and retaining clients’ heirs pose the greatest challenge to advisers over the next decade.

Baby boomers have been financial advisers’ core client base for years, but a practice needs new blood to continue to grow. Considering that Gen X and Millennials will control 47% of wealth in the United States by 2030, advisers are under increasing pressure to onboard younger clients, as well as hire new talent that understands the needs of the next wave of investors.

Advisers that adapt to connect with multiple generations of investors and earn their trust, business, and loyalty, will chart a path to continuing growth and success.

Our first in-person Women Adviser Summit, Nov. 3, 2021, in Naples, Florida, will present strategies, tactics, tools, and  best practices from your peers and industry influencers on how to successfully serve clients across many generations. You’ll hear inspirational keynotes, thought-provoking panels, and engaging presentations on building a multigenerational client base and on diversifying your product offerings to serve them.

We know you have missed meeting in person and interacting with your peers face-to-face.  And we have missed hosting you!  We are very excited to SAFELY bring the women adviser community back together in sunny Naples.

We hope you can join us.
